NovoGrid – Real-Time Grid Monitoring
Software for real-time grid monitoring allows determining remote network conditions in real-time. These solutions can be decentralized, meaning that they can be configured for each specific location based on local network characteristics. Dublin-based NovoGrid offers a software solution that enables wind farms to reduce the cost of delivering their energy production to the electricity grid. GridViz requires only three local grid measurements (MW, MVAr and kV). From these measurements, GridViz can determine remote network conditions at a specified point of interest, e.g. an upstream power line, with an accuracy of over 99%.

Electricity grid predictive analytics solutions use advanced machine learning capabilities to enable electric utilities to optimize profits, forecast for future load growth on the grid at any level of granularity, and predict failures and faults of grid equipment to save time and money. Grid4C, a startup from Texas, USA, develops plug and play AI software that analyzes billions of meter reads at the grid edge to deliver millions of daily predictions for energy providers, their customers, and the utility grid. Grid4C’s algorithms detect, diagnose, and, in many cases, predict malfunctions and inefficiencies for assets on the grid, without the installation of expensive hardware.
