Which startups develop the other 180 solutions?

Flexibity – Collision Avoidance Warning

Many road accidents occur due to a lack of response time for drivers. Any increase in the response time is bound to save many lives in road accidents. V2V communication alerts drivers about a possible collision, therefore, enabling drivers to avoid collisions or to take swift actions to minimize the damage.

The Russia-based startup Flexibity develops a short-range V2V solution called Flexroad. When installed in vehicles, it enables a vehicle to communicate with other vehicles over a certain range. It allows them to warn each other about a possible collision and take preventive measures to avoid it.

Chorus Mobility – Traffic Alerts

Traffic congestion due to construction work, bad weather, and traffic jams is a frequent occurrence in major cities. V2V communication alerts drivers about the state of roads and helps them avoid getting stuck in traffic jams. This saves drivers time and reduces traffic congestion overall.

The USA-based startup Chorus Mobility develops blockchain-based applications for V2V communication. Their applications enable autonomous vehicles to interact and share information with each other. The shared information conveys factors such as the state of the road, the condition of the traffic, weather, etc.

FlipsCloud – Collaborative Driving

Many startups are working on a concept known as “collaborative driving”. This concept enables a vehicle to lead other vehicles with little or no human intervention. The leading vehicle is either human-driven or automated and guides the following vehicles like a platoon. V2V communication enables the interconnectivity of vehicles for collaborative driving.

The Taiwanese startup FlipsCloud provides cloud-based security and encryption solutions for V2V communication. These solutions ensure quantum level security of user data and privacy using blockchain and the Internet of Things (IoT). Moreover, the secure data exchange between the vehicles promotes effective collaborative driving.
