TCT True Solar Power generates Heat Energy through Solar Concentration

Founding Year: 2018
Location: Madrid, Spain
Partner for Residential & Commercial Heating Systems

Spanish startup TCT True Solar Power specializes in solar thermal energy generated through intelligent solar dishes. The startup TCT RED 360º solar tracking system allows users to capture solar energy through the day from sunrise to sunset. Moreover, when compared to traditional solar concentrators, TCT RED offers higher efficiency regardless of external or internal temperature, requires significantly less space than flat-panel collectors, produces higher temperatures, and is more economical. This solution provides residential and commercial heating and cooling systems with consistent and reliable energy savings which are not possible with current flat panel solar energy harvesters.

Greenwell transforms Old Oil Wells into Clean Geothermal Wells

Founding Year: 2018
Location: Vienna, Austria
Reach out to Greenwell for Oil Well Repurposing

Austrian startup Greenwell specializes in the conversion of old oil wells into geothermal wells instead of having them decommissioned. The startup’s solution uses dried-up oil wells that are thousands of feet deep, transforming them into geothermal sources that produce 50-100 kW of heating power. The startup’s solution reduces the operational costs of oil and gas decommissioning operations while encouraging small-scale agriculture of growing fruit, dry things, or breeding insects by providing a sustainable source of clean heat energy.

Solhotair manufactures Residential Solar Panels

Founding Year: 2019
Location: Izabelin, Poland
Partner with Solhotair for Residential Solar Energy

Polish startup Solhotair provides technology that enables efficient heat generation by converting solar energy into heat energy. The startup’s SOLHOTAIR collectors heat the interior of rooms as a complementary heat source through the supply of fresh, warm, filtered air into buildings. This reduces the energy cost associated with heating and cooling systems during winter and transitional periods in spring and autumn. Moreover, the upper surface of the air channels is coated with a selective layer that absorbs solar radiation enabling the technology to be highly efficient and provide better heating. This solves the challenge of the electrical efficiency of residential roof-based solar home heating systems while providing homeowners with increased savings over time.

Qheat creates Geothermal Heat Energy Storage Solutions

Founding Year: 2016
Location: Helsinki, Finland
Engage with them to implement Geothermal Heat Wells

Finnish startup Qheat uses geothermal energy to store energy, enabling the equalization of seasonal energy fluctuation. The QHeat geothermal heat wells reach depths of up to 2000-3000 meters, at which the temperatures are significantly higher and allow for the production of more energy. The startup also uses advanced technology for efficient heating, cooling, and seasonal energy storage. Using medium-deep geothermal wells while heating, the bedrock cools gradually, and during the cooling phase, energy is brought down to the bottom of the heat well, where this energy recharges the energy gap generated during the heating phase. When compared to other similar large-scale heating solutions, this provides less energy wastage and significantly reduces the carbon footprint of growing urban cities.

IcarusRT develops Waste Solar Energy Capture Technology

Founding Year: 2016
Location: Carlsbad, US
Reach out to for Waste Heat Recovery

US-based startup IcarusRT develops low-cost energy storage systems for commercial and utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. Their system is snapped on the back of PV panels. When the panels cool, the IcarusRT system collects rejected heat and converts it into power to improve efficiency and output. The system uses proprietary nanocoating to more efficiently capture waste heat that is used to recharge lithium-ion batteries in thermal heating applications while simultaneously. The solution reduces the cost of solar PV systems in residential and commercial applications through high-efficiency solar energy capture and utilization.
