Olbrain – Artificial General Intelligence For Robots

To enable artificial systems to perform tasks exactly as humans do is the overarching goal for AGI. Currently, artificial intelligence is capable of playing games such as chess as well or even better than humans. It is also capable of analyzing natural language and provides relevant sets of replies to a multitude of questions. However, existing AI systems perform their designated tasks near-perfectly but cannot do any other task with the same perfection. Emerging AGI companies intend to upgrade AI systems to enable entirely new use cases.

The US-based startup Olbrain builds Olvis to commercialize its neural networks-based general intelligence platform. The platform employs low-code and task-specific skills software, including pick and place for robotic arms, to train with speed. The three main components involved in Olbrain’s AGI are automated decision making, objective function-oriented programming, and gripping area iterations. Olbrain also envisions all existing robotic tasks to be trained through the platform which is later executed in a stepwise manner.

DeepBrainz AI – Integrated Autonomous Artificial Intelligence Platform

One of the key advantages of employing or building AGI is to provide greater access to this technology. AGI systems are usually capable of performing or solving multiple problems across industries and verticals. This allows companies to invest in one good AI platform to manage several business processes. As a result, from medical imaging to autonomous cars and virtual assistants, AGI offers much better efficacy and benefits over existing AI.

Indian startup DeepBrainz AI develops an integrated end-to-end autonomous AI platform. Equipped with AI-first Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) with the edge internet of things (IoT) platform, their solutions find applications for autonomous healthcare, connected and level-4 autonomous driving vehicles, as well as conversational AI for enterprises and consumers. Moreover, DeepBrainz AI employs several techniques to develop their products, from transparency algorithms and autonomous meta-learning to all forms of machine and imitation learning.

GoodAI – Artificial General Intelligence Software Program

Cognition refers to the mental action or process of acquiring knowledge and understanding them through thought, experience, and the senses. AGI aims to bridge the wide gap between human and machine cognitive processes. While most of the human cognition happens automatically, machines still require numerous interventions to enable them to perform tasks. As a result, startups develop cognitive computing for machines that include machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and sentiment analysis.

Czech startup GoodAI is building a general artificial intelligence software program that aims to automate cognitive processes in science, technology, and business, among other fields. The startup develops the Badger architecture and learning procedure where an agent, made of multiple experts, learns on two levels. The first level is to understand how a single agent is responding to input while the second level analyzes multiple generations of agents to identify optimal solutions. The main objective of this AI agent is to adapt quickly to any novel task.

Singularity Studio – OpenCog Artificial General Intelligence Engine

The IoT and the industrial IoT (IIoT) play a key role in the future of connected systems and factories. A wide variety and number of sensors are in use today across industries like agriculture, healthcare, forestry, and manufacturing. Industry 4.0 solutions require widespread use of IIoT to gather necessary data. AGI promises to significantly improve factory operations by conducting integrated data analytics.

Dutch startup Singularity Studio develops proprietary software that includes AI methods leveraging deep neural networks, probabilistic logic, and evolutionary learning. SingularityNET is a platform that combines several key components to provide an accessible network of AI services. The platform automates the integration of third-party AI services sourced from the blockchain-based AI marketplace. Moreover, the company currently works on projects spanning FinTech, healthcare, IIoT, and enterprise-level AI.

KEOTIC – Autonomous Knowledge Management

Another function of AGI is to simply run it across as many datasets as possible to find hidden patterns and connections between data points. With potentially life-changing applications for law enforcement and government intelligence, this form of AGI faces the most backlash. However, this does not prevent emerging companies from developing solutions that are trained to analyze huge volumes of data to identify relevant information.

Israeli startup KEOTIC creates autonomous knowledge management artificial intelligence system. The startup exploits the ubiquitousness of data to automatically understand and organize vast amounts of raw, unstructured textual data and turn it into manageable knowledge. Additionally, KEOTIC’s AI learns where each piece of information fits and autonomously routes information to the right place at the right time. This improves decision making and in contrast to existing AI systems, this AI learns the data and informs the user about what it contains.
